SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Constitutional amendment (first resolution); property exempt from taxation. Provides that the General Assembly may enact legislation that will authorize localities by ordinance to exempt from property taxes up to 20 percent of the value of each residential or farm property that is the individual owner-occupants' primary dwelling and lived in continuously. This amendment is identical to HJR 686.
