SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

State cigarette tax and tobacco products tax. Increases the state cigarette tax from 1.5 cents per cigarette to 3 cents per cigarette, adds a $0.25 per ounce tax on each can or package of moist snuff, and eliminates the stamping agent discount and the dealer discount.
