SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Local governing bodies as agents of the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner; removal of certain advertising. Allows the governing body of any county, city, or town to authorize local law-enforcement agencies or other governmental agencies to act with the same authority granted to the Commissioner for the purpose of removing certain signs and advertising.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Local governing bodies as agents of the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner; removal of certain advertising. Allows the governing body of any county, city, or town to authorize local law-enforcement agencies or other governmental agencies to act as agents of the Commissioner for the purpose of removing certain signs and advertising.
