SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Southeastern Public Service Authority. Requires the Southeastern Public Service Authority of Virginia to, in good faith, entertain any and all reasonable landfill gas contract offers that have the potential to result in landfill gas-to-fuel or landfill gas-to-electricity and steam generation, thereby creating green-energy job opportunities and revenue to the area served by the Authority.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Southeastern Public Service Authority. Requires the Southeastern Public Service Authority of Virginia to, in good faith, entertain and negotiate any and all reasonable landfill gas contract offers that have the potential to result in landfill gas-to-fuel or landfill gas-to-electricity and steam generation.
