SB 1480 Life insurance policies; delivery method.

SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)

Life insurance policies; delivery method.  Provides that the date of delivery of a life insurance policy shall be the date of signed receipt of delivery, if delivered by mail or physical delivery, or the date of electronic transmission, if effected electronically. In any event, a policy shall be deemed to have been received by a policy owner if six months have passed since its issuance and the owner paid premiums throughout the period.
