SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Personal appearance by two-way electronic video and audio communication. Provides that if two-way electronic video and audio communication is available for use by a judge in a district court criminal proceeding to determine bail or representation by counsel, the judge must use such communication if the person would otherwise have to be transported from outside the jurisdiction of the court in order to appear in person before the court. HB 2108 is identical.
