SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Income tax; energy-efficient equipment tax credit. Grants an income tax credit for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2011, to individuals who purchase energy-efficient equipment for their homes on or after January 1, 2009. The amount of the credit equals five percent of such equipment expenditures but not more than $2,500 total.
