SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Prescription Monitoring Program; disclosure of information. Removes requirement that a prescriber obtain written consent from the recipient of a prescription before requesting information on that recipient for the purpose of establishing his treatment history, and allows prescribers to delegate authority to access information in the Program to up to two licensed health care professionals. Also allows the Director of the Department of Health Professions to enter into agreements for mutual exchange of information among prescription monitoring programs in other jurisdictions. This bill is identical to HB 2211.
