SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Infectious disease; deemed consent for testing. Eliminates requirement that, in other than emergency situations, a law-enforcement officer give notice that a person shall be deemed to have consented to testing and disclosure of test results for HIV and hepatitis B or C, when the officer is directly exposed to body fluids of a person in a manner that may transmit HIV or hepatitis B or C. This bill was incorporated into SB 1107 (Northam).
