SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF); diversionary cash assistance. Revises the limitation on receipt of one-time diversionary TANF cash assistance from one payment per 60-month period to one payment per 12-month period. The Department of Social Services shall report to the chairmen of the Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees by October 1, 2012, on the savings achieved through the use of the diversionary assistance. This bill is identical to HB 1714.
