SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION: (all summaries)
Medication aide training programs; required registration delayed. Sets forth requirements for Board of Nursing approved education and training programs for medication aides. This bill also delays enforcement of the requirement for medication aides to be registered until August 1, 2009, allows medication aides to administer drugs that would normally be self-administered in assisted living facilities until that date, and is effective retroactively to December 31, 2008.
