Introduced by: Brenda L. Pogge | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Transient occupancy tax. Adds representatives of lodging properties to those local tourism organizations with whom counties consult prior to determining what tourism-related expenditures to make with the revenue from the additional three percent transient occupancy tax available to some counties (all counties may impose a two percent tax). The bill also expands the list of considerations regarding a proposed expenditure to include whether such expenditure will increase occupancy of lodging properties.
