SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Notification of family member of person involved in commitment process. Authorizes disclosure to a friend or family member of a person who is the subject of an emergency custody order, temporary detention order, or involuntary commitment order, of information that is relevant to that friend's or family member's involvement with the person's health care, including information regarding the person's location and general condition. This bill is identical to SB 1077.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Notification of family member of person involved in commitment process. Authorizes disclosure of information regarding a patient's location and general condition to a family member or personal representative of the person.
