SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Drug offenses; prior convictions. Specifies that prior out-of-state convictions for substantially similar offenses count as prior offenses for the purpose of enhancing punishment for a second offense of manufacturing, selling, giving, distributing, or possessing with intent to manufacture, sell, give, or distribute a controlled substance or an imitation controlled substance.

Drug offenses; prior convictions. Specifies that prior out-of-state convictions for substantially similar offenses count as prior offenses for the purpose of enhancing punishment for possession of marijuana and for manufacturing, selling, giving, distributing, or possessing with intent to manufacture, sell, give, or distribute a controlled substance or an imitation controlled substance.
