SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Driver's license examination. Requires the DMV Commissioner, on or before January 1, 2010, to significantly strengthen the Virginia driver's license examination. Such improvements are to include (i) overcorrection; (ii) trailer connection requirements and driving techniques associated with towing of light- to medium-duty trailers; and (iii) recognition of driver hand signals, especially while driving in rural areas.
