SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Recreational saltwater licenses.  Authorizes the Marine Resources Commission to charge nonresidents a higher fee to purchase various saltwater recreational fishing licenses than the amount paid by residents. The fee charged to nonresidents would be no greater than twice the Virginia resident fee. The bill also authorizes the Commission to prohibit the sale of a private boat recreational fishing license to a nonresident whose boat is not registered in Virginia.
