SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Onsite treatment works designs.  Provides that designs for treatment works submitted to the Department of Health by professional engineers shall be appropriate for the particular soil characteristics of the site.  

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Onsite treatment works designs incorporating soilbase disposal or treatment component; include report of professional soil scientist.  Provides that designs for onsite treatment works submitted to the Department of Health shall include a report prepared by a Virginia certified professional soil scientist, where the plan includes utilization of a soilbase disposal or treatment component.
