SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE: (all summaries)

Tax legislation; sunset date. Requires a sunset date of no more than four years on all bills that add or increase a state or local tax, prior to reporting of the bill by a committee of the General Assembly.  However, after passage, such bills will not expire on the sunset date if at that time the tax is dedicated to pay outstanding bonds.  Rather such bills will expire the date they are no longer dedicated to outstanding bonds.
