Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 10.1-1113 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 10.1-1113. Right of entry; no liability for trespass in performance of duties.

A. The State Forester or his authorized representative may: (i) enter upon or through any forest land or logging operation; and (ii) suppress forest fires, make inspections, collect data, photograph sites, and gather any information related to silvicultural activities to carry out the provisions of this Chapter.

B. No action for trespass shall lie against the State Forester, or any agent or employee of the State Foresterhis authorized representative for lawful acts done in the performance of his duties.
