Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. That notwithstanding any other provision of law, any revisions made to the Standards of Learning in effect as of June 30, 2009, shall not be implemented until the 2010-2011 school year, and that notwithstanding the textbook adoption cycle developed by the Department of Education, local school divisions shall not be required to purchase new textbooks until the 2010-2011 school year.
