Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. The Virginia Route 143 (Merrimac Trail) bridge over Queens Creek in the City of Williamsburg is hereby designated the "Richard Daley Mahone Memorial Bridge." The Department of Transportation shall place and maintain signs indicating the designation of this bridge. This designation shall not affect any other designation heretofore or hereafter applied to this bridge.
