HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 965 Offered February 19, 2009 Commending Bill and Jeri Noel Jackson. ---------- Patrons-- Lingamfelter, Athey and Cole; Senators: Stuart and Vogel ----------

WHEREAS, Bill and Jeri Noel Jackson of the Scott District of Fauquier County were honored as 2008 Citizens of the Year by the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors; and

WHEREAS, for over 30 years, Bill and Jeri Noel Jackson have been the proud owners of Tri County Feeds, which now boasts a new environmentally friendly facility; and

WHEREAS, Bill and Jeri Noel Jackson’s business operation is a shining example of economic development in Fauquier County; and

WHEREAS, deeply involved in every aspect of their community, Bill and Jeri Noel Jackson have frequently hosted the District Comprehensive Plan Review Group; and

WHEREAS, committed to making a difference in their community, Bill and Jeri Noel Jackson are outstanding role models, and they inspire others to volunteer and make Fauquier County a safer, friendlier, and more pleasant place in which to live; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly commend and congratulate Bill and Jeri Noel Jackson as 2008 Fauquier County Citizens of the Year for the Scott District; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Bill and Jeri Noel Jackson as an expression of the General Assembly’s gratitude for their dedication to the community of Fauquier County.
