099902768Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Governor shall convey in the name of the Commonwealth, in a form approved by the Attorney General, to the City of Hampton, the Commonwealth's interest in Tract 2, containing 25.11 acres, and shall hold in abeyance the conveyance, in the name of the Commonwealth, Tract 1, containing 3.77 acres, more or less and Tract 3, containing 38.25 acres, more or less.
The aforesaid tracts comprise what is commonly known as the campus for the Virginia School for the Deaf, Blind and Multi-Disabled.
The City of Hampton shall pay $1.00 for Tract 2 and shall be used only for educational purposes. No conveyance of Tracts 1 and 3 shall take place before July 1, 2010, in order to allow the Governor and the City of Hampton to negotiate the terms of conveyance of one or both of the aforesaid tracts to the City of Hampton, in a form approved by the Attorney General.
