VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 15.2-958.3, relating to waiver of certain fees; affordable housing. [H 2096] Approved

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 15.2-958.3 as follows:

§ 15.2-958.3.  Waiver of certain fees for affordable housing.

A locality may by ordinance provide for the waiver of building permit fees and other local fees associated with the construction of housing by a 501(c)(3) organization with a primary purpose of assisting with the provision of affordable housing.
