CHAPTER 489 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 2.2-3310.3, relating to designation of Vietnam Human Rights Day in Virginia. [H 2594] Approved March 27, 2009

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 2.2-3310.3 as follows:

§ 2.2-3310.3. Vietnam Human Rights Day.

The 11th day of May of each year shall be designated and recognized as Vietnam Human Rights Day in support of efforts by the Non-Violent Movement for Human Rights in Vietnam to achieve freedom and human rights for the people of Vietnam.
