CHAPTER 232 An Act to amend and reenact § 1 of Chapter 379 of the Acts of Assembly of 1964.  [H 1907] Approved March 27, 2009

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 1 of Chapter 379 of the Acts of Assembly of 1964 is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 1. There is hereby created a Commission to be known as the Twin County Airport Commission. The Commission shall be composed of seven six members, one two of whom shall be selected by each of the governing bodies of the counties of Carroll and Grayson, and the towns of Fries, Hillsville and Independence, and two of whom shall be selected by the council of the city of Galax. Each of the members shall serve at the pleasure of the governing body appointing him and shall receive such compensation, if any, as shall be determined by the appointing authority.
