That the Board shall, within 280 days, adopt regulations establishing performance requirements and horizontal setbacks necessary to protect public health and the environment for alternative systems permitted pursuant to the Board's regulations implementing this chapter. Such regulations shall include a requirement for comment period of at least 30 days, pursuant to § 2.2-4007.01, and shall contain operation and maintenance requirements consistent with the requirements for alternative onsite sewage systems contained in § 32.1-164.
