SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
No parole for jail inmates convicted of multiple misdemeanors. Eliminates parole for a jail inmate convicted of misdemeanors on or after July 1, 2008 and sentenced to serve a total active sentence of more than 12 months. Currently, jail inmates sentenced to serve more than 12 months in jail for a combination of misdemeanor offenses are eligible for parole.
