SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
State Medical Facilities Plan; task force. Requires the Board of Health to appoint and convene a task force of no less than 15 persons, including representatives from the Department of Health and the Division of Certificate of Public Need, and representatives of regional health planning agencies, the health care provider community, academic medical community, experts in advanced medical technology, and health insurers to meet at least once every two years. This bill also requires the task force to complete a review of the State Medical Facilities Plan at least every four years to update or validate the plan.
