SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Informed consent for testing for human immunodeficiency virus. Removes the requirement for separate oral or written informed consent for testing for human immunodeficiency virus and adds the requirement that a medical care provider inform a patient that the test is planned, provide information about the test, and advise the patient that he has the right to decline the test. This bill has been incorporated into HB 1100.
