SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Alcoholic beverage control; farm wineries. Permits farm wineries to receive deliveries and shipments of wine not manufactured by the farm winery and sell and deliver or ship this wine to the Board or wholesale licensees for the purpose of resale. The bill also clarifies the definition of farm.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Alcoholic beverage control; winery to winery transfers. Permits the transfer between licensed wineries or farm wineries of fresh fruit or agricultural products for the purpose of manufacturing, blending, processing, cellaring, or bottling wine. The bill provides that these transfers can occur without a wholesaler and the wine may be sold at retail or wholesale. The bill requires complete and accurate records to be kept of these transfers.
