2008 SESSION
089270644WHEREAS, Cayce Eileen Castelow, age 19, died tragically in an automobile accident on May 31, 2007; and
WHEREAS, Cayce Castelow was known for her bright smile and the joy she brought to anyone who knew her; and
WHEREAS, a member of the St. Pius X School Class of 2002, Cayce Castelow earned an international baccalaureate diploma from Granby High School, and upon completion of her first year at Virginia Commonwealth University, she was placed on the Dean's List for her academic excellence; and
WHEREAS, as a passionate animal rights activist, Cayce Castelow was an active member of Peta2 and devoted much of her time and energy educating others; and
WHEREAS, Cayce Castelow had a deep passion for music and traveling and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her sister, Corey, and other family members and friends; reading a good book; and meeting new people; and
WHEREAS, loving memories of Cayce Castelow will be cherished by her parents, Lee and Jennifer Castelow, her sister Corey, and many other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby note with great sadness the loss of a promising and gifted young woman, Cayce Eileen Castelow; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Cayce Eileen Castelow as an expression of the General Assembly’s respect for her memory.
