HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 508 Commending Richard W. Robison.

WHEREAS, Richard W. Robison is recognized for his longtime service to his fellow citizens and as a member of the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors from 2004 to 2007; and

WHEREAS, Richard Robison is the managing principal of RWR Design Services, a Warrenton-based architectural firm; and

WHEREAS, Richard Robison has been a resident of Fauquier County since 1985 and has been actively involved throughout the community; and

WHEREAS, Richard Robison was appointed to the Fauquier County Planning Commission from 1998 to 2006 and served effectively as chairman from 2000 to 2003; and

WHEREAS, appointed to the Fauquier County Architectural Review Board, Richard Robison diligently served from 1999 to 2006, and he also served eight years on the Warrenton Architectural Review Board; and

WHEREAS, Richard Robison was elected to the Fauquier County Board of Supervisors from the Center Magisterial District for the 2004 - 2007 term; and

WHEREAS, Richard Robison is an enthusiastic member of the Fauquier Chamber of Commerce, the Fauquier County Republican Committee, the Warrenton Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and the Friends of Warrenton; and

WHEREAS, Richard Robison has volunteered his time for First Night Warrenton, the Bluemont Concert Series, and the Boy Scouts of America; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly commend Richard W. Robison on his distinguished public service to the citizens of Fauquier County; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Richard W. Robison as an expression of the General Assembly’s gratitude for his many achievements and best wishes for success in all of his future endeavors.
