089875468WHEREAS, on January twenty-sixth, two thousand eight, the General Assembly of Virginia met in the Reconstructed Capitol at Williamsburg for the Twenty-fourth Commemorative Session as the guests of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation also hosted an elegant reception and dinner, including entertainment by 18th-century balladeers, as well as an elaborate breakfast buffet; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that this body express its appreciation of the gracious and generous hospitality extended by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby record its appreciation for the many courtesies extended this body, its members and guests, by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation upon the occasion of the holding of the session of the General Assembly of Virginia in the Capitol at Williamsburg on January twenty-sixth, two thousand eight; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Colin G. Campbell, Chairman and President of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, as a token of the appreciation of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
