CHAPTER 471 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Article 15 of Chapter 1 of Title 33.1 a section numbered 33.1-223.2:18, relating to acceptance by the Department of Transportation of private financing for the application and installation of traffic control measures. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 15 of Chapter 1 of Title 33.1 a section numbered 33.1-223.2:18 as follows:

§ 33.1-223.2:18. Application and installation of traffic control measures.

Nothing in this title shall be construed to prevent the acceptance by the Department of Transportation of private financing for the application and installation of traffic control measures if and when such measures meet the Department’s standards.
