SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Constitutional amendment (first resolution); property exempt from taxation. Directs the General Assembly to enact legislation that will permit localities to provide for a partial exemption from, or deferral of, local real property taxes on a taxpayer's primary residence and up to five acres of land associated with his residence. This resolution has been incorporated into SJR 354.
