SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Victim notification. States that victim notification currently required to be made by the Department of Corrections and local and regional jails may be made through the Virginia Statewide VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) System or other similar electronic or automated system. This bill is identical to HB 2029.
