SB 800 Criminal history record information; consent of person for whom data is being obtained.

SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:

Criminal history record information. Provides that the requirement that the person on whom the data is being obtained consent under oath to a request for his criminal history record information does not apply if an employer or prospective employer makes a written request and the person on whom the data is being obtained consented in writing and presented a photo-identification to the employer.

Criminal history record information.  Provides that the requirement that the person on whom the data is being obtained consent under oath to a request for his criminal history record information does not apply if the request is accompanied by a job application signed by the person.
