SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Public records; protection of law-enforcement officers; penalty. Includes identification of the person's primary residence address in the statute prohibiting the publishing of a person's name or photograph aalong with their identifying information. Also states that if any person violates the statute (§ 18.2-186.3), and he knew or had reason to know that the person he was identifying was a law-enforcement officer, then he is guilty of a Class 6 felony instead of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
