SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:

Lawful fence; definition.  Amends the definition of a lawful fence for fences of barbed wire and fences of boards.  The definition of a lawful fence is also expanded to include any fence that is at least 42 inches high, constructed from materials sold for fencing and appropriate for the confinement of livestock, and installed so that livestock cannot creep through the fence. The bill also grants the Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services the authority to adopt rules and regulations to provide greater specificity as to the requirements of lawful fencing.
