SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Incident management. Provides that vehicles owned or controlled by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) are exempt from provisions related to stopping on highways while performing emergency road clearance duties. The bill also provides that, in addition to tow truck operators, VDOT vehicles may perform certain incident management duties.
