SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Virginia Residential Property Disclosure Act; required disclosures. Requires an owner of residential property to also notify purchasers that there are no pending violations of any local zoning ordinances that the owner has not abated or remedied, within a time period set out in the written notice of violation or established by a court of competent jurisdiction.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Virginia Residential Property Disclosure Act; required disclosures. Requires an owner of residential property to also notify purchasers that there are no pending enforcement actions for any violation of the local zoning ordinance concerning the property of which the owner has been notified in writing by the locality.
