SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Assisted living facilities; aging in place. Provides that the Department shall not order the removal of a resident from an assisted living facility if (i) the resident, the resident's family, the resident's physician, and the facility consent to the resident's continued stay in the facility and (ii) the facility is capable of providing, obtaining or arranging for the provision of necessary services for the resident, including but not limited to home health care or hospice care.
