SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Income tax; home accessibility features for the disabled tax credit. Broadens the current tax credit that is granted for adding to existing residences home accessibility features for the disabled to also include such features in new residential construction, and increases from 25 percent to 100 percent the portion of the expenses allowed for the credit for any veteran of the armed forces of the United States who has been determined pursuant to federal law to have a 100 percent permanent and total service-connected disability and who occupies or will occupy as his principal residence the retrofitted home.
