SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Special conservators of the peace. Authorizes special conservators of the peace employed by a locality to use flashing blue lights in their vehicles, like other law-enforcement vehicles. The law currently allows special conservators of the peace to use flashing red lights. The bill also exempts special conservators of the peace employed by a locality from the prohibition against wearing a uniform with an insignia containing the seal of Virginia.
