SUMMARY AS PASSED:

Second or subsequent violent sex offense; penalty.  Provides that the notice that the Commonwealth is required to give  to the defendant that it will seek punishment available under the "two-time loser" sex offender statute shall be given in the indictment, information or warrant.

Conviction of second or subsequent violent sex offense; penalty.  Removes the requirement that the Commonwealth give prior notice to the defendant that it will seek punishment available under the "two-time loser" sex offender statute.

Conviction of second or subsequent violent sex offense; penalty.  Establishes unequivocally that prior convictions of certain violent sex crimes are to be alleged in the indictment or information and are made a part of the evidence at trial for the purpose of enhanced punishment for second and subsequent such offenses.
