SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Building permits for ancillary school buildings.  Allows a local building official to issue an annual permit for any construction regulated by the building code.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Building permits for ancillary school buildings.  Allows localities to provide that a building department may issue a blanket permit for new construction by the school board on existing school property. Such blanket permit will allow the school board to construct ancillary buildings on school property without the need to obtain a new permit.
