SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Higher education; articulation agreements.  Requires the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia to submit an annual report to the Senate Committee on Education and Health and the House Committee on Education specifying the total number of transfer students from the Virginia Community College System that each institution of higher education admitted, enrolled, and graduated.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Higher education; articulation agreements.  Requires that articulation agreements between public four-year institutions of higher education and institutions within the Virginia Community College System include minimum numbers of associate degree graduates that the institution of higher education will admit and enroll annually as transfer students from Virginia's community colleges.
