SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Verification of employment eligibility through Basic Pilot Program; penalty. Makes it unlawful for an employer to fail to confirm, through the Basic Pilot Program of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the employment eligibility of a job applicant. A violation is a Class 1 misdemeanor.
