In addition, the bill authorizes the Governor to provide financial assistance to Virginia state agencies and political subdivisions that provide emergency aid to another state and authorizes the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority police department to assist the National Capital Region and abutting localities and entities in the case of emergency.
